Letters to Horace Howard Furness, 1885-1898.

Consists of three folders. The letter dated 22 March 1892 is accompanied by a typewritten transcription of a portion of it. The letter dated 1 October 1898, addressed Dear Sir, may or may not be to Furness. It concerns Shakespeare souvenirs. On the back is pasted an autograph of the governor of New York, Frank W. Higgins, dated 1905. The third folder contains five letters dated 1885-1888 that were added to the collection later.
